    Description

    Job Purpose

    Facilitate Commercial Department activity process

    Establish & implement centralized contract management

    Adopt stronger & more appropriate governance

    Strengthen Division post-award capabilities

    Sharpen Division commercial acumen

    Reduce Division exposure to risks

    Core Responsibilities

    · Take care of pre- and post-award phases of Contract/PO

    · Perform risk assessment, fill in risk register on potential deals/tenders, recommend corrective actions

    · Undertake Contract/PO analysis by recommendation to the business

    · Drafting and negotiating contracts that are legally binding between parties

    · Establishing Contract/PO terms and conditions including financial obligation

    · Documenting and reviewing contract terms and conditions, highlighting areas to improve to avoid risks leading to disputes/crisis between Parties

    · Raise and address clarification to the Customer

    · Perform day-to-day Contract/PO lifecycle administrative activities

    · Handle variation orders and claims

    · Participate in corresponding meeting with both internal and external Stakeholders

    · Monitor and administer business provisions of prime contracts to ensure compliance with contractual T&C

    · Monitoring and advising on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contracts

    · Coordinate with engineers/operations for progress of work to ascertain intime contractual obligations/deliverables fulfilled (initiate reimbursement, testing, insurance, bonds & etc.)

    · Liaise and coordinate approvals internally and externally (as may be appropriate)

    · Maintain contract administration process conformity to Company policy, Government regulations and best industry practices

    · Take necessary steps for PD contracts' close-out checklist

    · Update contract portfolio database

    · Perform other responsibilities associated with the position (as may be appropriate)

    Background & Experience (years)

    · 10 years of contract administration and contract cycle experience

    · Thorough knowledge of industry business practices, legislation, FIDIC forms of contract, contractual language, supply

    · Working knowledge of SAP and PC software packages typically associated with commercial administration

    Competencies and Skills

    · Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills

    · Ability to read, analyze and interpret legal documents

    · Excellent problem-solving skills

    · Ability to manage large, diversified activities with multiple and competing requirements

    · Ability to set priorities and manage activities to successful completion meeting deadlines

    · Ability to perform independently and under leadership, in fast-pace environment and be a part of diverse team
