What we are looking for?:

Teacher of English


Our forward thinking and progressive British Curriculum School in Dubai is looking for an 'Outstanding' Teacher of English, offering GCSE, and A Level courses, our school offers a truly international environment for our students, with a distinctly British flavour.

The secondary and Post 16 phases of our school are on their way to 'Very Good' as per the DSIB Framework, we are looking to recruit a dynamic, passionate teacher who will join us on our road to 'Outstanding'.

We are looking for a Teacher of English who:

  • Has an undergraduate degree or major in English Literature
  • Has a PGCE in Secondary English
  • Has experience of teaching in a British School/British Curriculum School
  • Has experience of teaching AQA, Edexcel or equivalent British exam boards
  • Has evidence of 'Outstanding' teaching practice, or the ability to become outstanding
  • Is confident in planning engaging, student led lessons
  • Has the ability to use classroom technology to enrich the learning experience of your students
  • Is an excellent team player, willing to contribute significantly to the department
  • Is willing to make a contribution to the extra curricular life of the school
