Job Description:

Job Purpose

Project management & execution, which includes planning, budgeting, procurements, executing, monitoring, controlling and project completion.

Project engineering & coordination, which comprises variety of documentation on any given project, including submittals, design and engineering functions, engineering calculations.

Project team management, process improvements, maximizing resources and optimizing budgets.

Customer satisfaction, timely execution, resource management, cost management, support sales teams during bidding, variations and claim management, in-house competency development for specific engineering and commissioning need.

Responsibilities:

Spearheading efforts for various projects like: Street & Road Lighting projects, Retrofit Replacement projects in Abu Dhabi Municipality / Department of Transport / Utilities as a Project Engineer.
LEADING PROJECT MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION, REPORTING TO GM.
Deliver projects to predetermined budget, maintaining time parameters and quality standards.
Maintain tactical control of project budgets and timelines to keep teams ontask and achieve schedule targets
RESPONSIBLE FOR P & L FOR THE JOBS HANDED OVER BY SALES UNTIL COMPLETION
DIRECTING, MONITORING & CONTROLLING PROJECTS & SERVICES JOBS
RISK AND OPPORTUNITIES MANAGEMENT
CLAIMS AND VARIATIONS MANAGEMENT
WEEKLY, MONTHLY REVIEWS OF PROJECTS AND SERVCICES
INSURING ADHERANCE TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROCESS
TEAM DEVELOPMENT BY GIVING TRAININGS
KPI SETTING, MONITORING & DELIVERING
TIME, COST AND SCOPE
MONITORING AND CONTROLLING
CONTINUOUS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
CUSTOMER'S MANAGEMENT DURING EXECUTION PHASE
MAKING DECISSIONS AND STRATEGIES DURING EXECUTION
GUIDING TEAM AND DRIVING FOR BEST POSSIBLE OUTPUT
FOCUSED TO ENHANCE MARGINS AND IMPROVE COSTS

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and communication

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Additional Information

10 + years' experience required in Electrical Engineering and Project Management.
Experience in handling greenfield, brownfield electrical projects.

Proven experience in project management.
