Position: MEP Supervisor/ Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Manageand supervise the daily activities of the technicalteam.
• Ensures optimal usage of manpower andresources.
• Oversees and carries outmaintenance and repair of equipment.
• Respondsto all reactive maintenance within the specified service levelagreements and operational policies.
• Ensuresthat Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks are carried out inaccordance with the schedule frequency and task lists and providesreports on any works required thereafter.
• Responds in a prompt and efficient manner to all reactive issuesand help desk requests.
• Carries out siteinspection on a random basis to monitor the benchmark of work andschedule.
• Coordinates with other teams andensures satisfactory completion of work.
• Submits weekly accurate timesheets for the operationalstaff.
• Carries out routine inspections forthe jobs accomplished by Technicians and ServicePartners.
• Ensures that both the quality andthe quantity of the jobs are in line with Service LevelAgreements/KPIs.
• Promotes a safe workenvironment and proper use of Personal ProtectiveEquipment.
• Receives and complete work ordersto include; records concerning time labour and materials for eachtask.
• Responds to emergency situations duringand after hours for to resolve the emergencyrequirements.
• Requires flexibility andunderstanding that all maintenance staff may be required to performduties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the missionand goals of the Facility Services Department

Requirements:

• 
  Minimum technical certificate ordiploma in mechanical civil or electricalengineering.
• Minimum 34years experience with relevant history of installation maintenanceand repair in commercial premises.
• Display a sound knowledge of MEP installation and civil relatedworks.
• Should have a sound knowledge ofpipefitting electrical and electronic fault diagnosis and brazingtechniques as applicable to the AC and refrigeration industry. Goodunderstanding of A/C systems and controls.
• Experience of safe working practices risk assessments methodstatements and permittowork systems.
• Knowledge of HSEQ practices and policies.
• Thecandidate should have a good level of English and GCC experience ispreferred
