NACE Certified Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector


Reporting to:
Project Manager

The position of QA/QC performs field (Coatings / Fireproofing / Insulation) inspection and document controls.

Alternative Titles:
Blasting and painting Coating Inspector

*Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Testing and recording mil thickness (WFT and DFT)
  • Testing and recording Anchor Profile
  • Hold Point inspection between processes
  • Final inspection and release
  • Accurate Reporting and Record Keeping
  • Monitoring and recording batch numbers, serial numbers
  • Communicating with paint crew, 3rd party inspectors, and management
  • Proactively avoiding rework through proper racking of parts
  • Reviewing and adhering to paint specs and routers
  • Assisting in the creation of routers
*Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have the energy to keep up with a manufacturing environment while maintaining a customer service-oriented attitude. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual is a plus.


Experience Requirements:

  • NCCER Certification and/or NACE Certified
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 23 years of similar experience of progressive responsibility in Blasting and Painting coatings and/or Fireproofing coatings

Salary:
AED3, AED3,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
