The advertised post is for the position of Procurement and Shipping Manager.

Work Experience and other requirements

Proven work experience of minimum 810 years as a Purchase and Logistics Manager or similar role in manufacturing sector.
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
Understanding of supply chain procedures.
Crosstrading shipment experience is required.
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
Negotiation skills.
Team management skills.

Responsibilities:

Tracking shipments as to keep all systems updated.
Manage the shipping documents from international suppliers and confirm accurate information and make sure the items are same as per our contract; Ensure import documentation is acceptable in All Government Authorities.
Check status of shipments and ensure customs and freight is cleared.
Responsible for submitting reports as required.
Managing to clear all cash advances in given time.
Conversion of requisitions to purchase orders.
Creation of Purchase orders while taking due care of Taxes, Rates, Terms and Conditions, etc.
Creation & Maintenance of BOM.
Familiar with Material Requirement Planning preferably in manufacturing sector.
Vendor Evaluation & Development.
Hands on knowledge of Costing.
Good Communication skill to interact with global vendor.
Supplier Follow up & timely resolutions.
Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure ontime & first time right deliveries of final product.
Review & analysis of supplier manufacturing schedules.
Consultation of the clients regarding insurances, duties and taxes.
Monitoring of the shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations.
Search for possibilities to reduce taxes.
Maintenance of customer relations and participation in the organization's sales activities.
Assessment of new marketing and sales opportunities as well as presentation of those estimations to the respective managements.
Ensuring overall efficiency in purchase and shipping department.

Fluent in Hindi and English

Salary:
AED7, AED8,000.00 per month
