    Description

    Wood is currently looking to recruit a PMC Project Lead to join PMC team on a ADNOC Onshore contract.

  • Directs and supervises the implementation of projects including, verification of bidders lists, participation in the preparation of Call for Tender documents consisting of terms of reference, scope of works, special terms and conditions, payment terms and project master schedule (PMS)
  • Develop project objectives, execution strategy, work breakdown structure and contracting strategy identifying types of contracts required for the project such as EPC, EPCM, and Third Party Verification, PMC, etc.
  • Works in the line with Company HSE Policies, responsible for implementation of Company HSE, Quality Control and Assurance plans by making sure that contractors have understood Company HSE procedures, rules and regulation
  • Coordinates and assists Project Manager in ITT, Technical bid evaluations including preparation of the Call for Tenders (CFT's), prequalification, and Bidders List up to selection of the Contractors; also cover the duties of Project Manager during his absence
  • Follows-up and coordinates the various contracts of the project to ensure interfaces are properly defined and monitored to avoid delays to the project; proposes and implements remedial actions if necessary
  • Maintains close liaison with sites, project originators, end users and other departments to ensure that all company procedures are adhered to during project execution
  • Supervises the performance of Contractors for the project
  • Reviews contractors' invoices and monitors contracts cost in liaison with Planning and Cost
  • Services and evaluates cost trend, and advises the Project Manager as necessary
  • Ensures that close-out procedures for all contracts are being complied with including control of project as-built documentation, material reconciliation and close-out reports
  • Identifies critical issues and areas of concern that may affect project's performance target
  • Provides effective way forward and timely decision to ensure that all risks are properly managed
  • Act as a focal point for all interfaces of the projects within company and other ADNOC group companies, to ensure successful completion of project activities
  • Oversees the development and execution of risk management plans, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions
  • Leads project reviews and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve project management processes and enhance team performance
  • Degree in an engineering discipline from a recognized university
  • Membership in a recognized professional engineering association would be highly preferred
  • A minimum of fifteen years' experience in execution of major Oil and Gas projects, of which a minimum of five years experience as Lead Project Engineer or higher with proven track record in upstream projects
  • Experienced in the implementation of industry best practices and Company's systems, processes and standards
  • Proven ability to apply sound judgment and analytical skills due to the complex and diversified nature of the position
  • Extensive skills in management and leadership, team building, effective communication, conflict resolution and presentations
