    Job Description Research Assistant positionis available in the laboratory of Neurodegenerative diseaseresearch at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UnitedArab Emirates University.

    The successful candidate will have theopportunity to investigate the role of Parkinson's diseaseassociated gene, Parkin in in vitro and in vivo models.

    Theposition is supported by Al Jalila Foundation Researchgrant.

    Requirements
    MinimumQualification The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree inBiological Science/Biochemistry. Expected Skills/Rank/Experience Itis expected that the person is highly motivated, hardworking andcan work independently. Good understanding of cell culture,handling mouse, experience with basic microscopy, stainingtechniques (immunohistochemistry), basic biochemistry and molecularbiology skills (e.g. Western blotting, cloning, PCR) arerequired.
