What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Head of MOE Subjects to join our team in August 2024
Main Responsibilities:
- Champion the ethos and values of Al Salam.
- Work alongside the Heads of School to drive school improvement.
- Strategic development and leadership of the department.
- Effective planning and management of resources to secure improvements to meet the UAE National Agenda targets.
- Coordinate and be responsible for all relevant Coordinators /Subject Heads, training and development of the team, formalizing detailed and structured planning ensuring excellence at all levels.
- Undertaking teaching and other professional duties as reasonably delegated by the Principal and school management.Position Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree in Arabic with Teaching certification
Experience:
Three years of school management/leadership in a similar setting in UAE.
Competencies & Skills:
- Knowledge of MOE subjects, inspection and evaluation frameworks
- Experience in child protection, health and safety
- Experience in developing, planning and delivering excellent provision
- Highly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholders
- Display a high level of professional competence in all areas of responsibility
- Collaborative team player and strategic thinker
- Able to convert vision into action
- Flexible and capable of managing growth and instilling high standards, adept in multilingual settings.
