Senior Veterinary Surgeon Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be an experienced veterinary surgeon with a strong track record in small animal practice. The role requires a high level of clinical and surgical skill, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team.

• A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a senior veterinary position is essential.


• Candidates must hold a recognized certification or membership relevant to their field.


• MRCVS registration is also required.


• We are seeking individuals with excellent teamwork skills who can contribute positively to our collaborative environment.


• Holders of this position must possess high standards of clinical and surgical competence.


• The successful candidate will have the ability to lead teams effectively, providing clear guidance and support where needed. Alternatively, they may work independently but still maintain open communication channels with colleagues.


• This full-time role involves working 5 days per week, with approximately one weekend day per month on call duty shared among staff members.  Annual leave totals thirty calendar days.  Additionally,  Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is supported for all employees.  Prior regional experience is not mandatory; however applicants should demonstrate proficiency equivalent to UAE standards through completed qualification(s).
