Organisation Unit Purpose:

To provide Finance support to the RBWM business of the Group including data analytics and strategic support to LIV. and the RBWM Digital business unit covering technology projects, transformation related initiatives across locations.

Job Purpose:

The job holder is part of the Group RBWM Business Finance team responsible for providing insightful Finance support to the RBWM business in key tactical and strategic decision making. The job holder will also support and partner strategic and growing coverage of RBWM Digital propositions across geographies and entities. The Job holder will support AVP Finance
RBWM to provide consolidated analytics for RBWM Financials

Duties and responsibilities:

Work closely with key stakeholders within the RBWM teams to ensure that management information produced remains relevant and aids decision making.
Work closely with AVP
Finance RBWM and RBWM business heads in developing a robust strategy covering key opportunities and risks.
Establish a planning framework which links to the mediumterm strategy and enables modeling of key drivers of revenues and costs thereby facilitating accurate multiyear rolling forecasts.
Establish tracking and reporting mechanisms of transformation and technology related investments and partner business in delivering their digital aspirations
Establish consolidated MI to support medium term strategy for RBWM.
Establish and maintain a robust challenge process for business cases submitted by the RBWM teams (digital and nondigital) while at the same time ensuring efficient response times.
Establish tracking mechanisms of all such initiatives to ensure accurate and timely reporting to Senior Management
Establish and maintain a robust post implementation review process for all material investments spends within the RBWM teams
Establish a framework for providing a clear and transparent analysis of costs directly incurred by relevant business units or being allocated to the same
Establish a process for business unit heads to fully understand risks and challenge costs both internally and externally

Experience:

Between 510 years of postqualification experience in the Finance function of a large bank/organization with focus on digital channels
Exposure to Retail Banking and Digital banking/ Digital strategy
Preference will be provided for those who have previously worked in Finance unit or those with data analytics capabilities

Knowledge and skills:

Thorough understanding of Finance concepts, business planning, Data preparation, visualization and costing.
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact at senior management levels.
Understanding of IT related projects and digital initiatives

A qualified accountant/ MBA/ M tech/ B Tech
