    About Our Client

    Our client is a prestigious sovereign wealth fund with a strong track record. This is an exciting opportunity for an associate to join their growing Digital Infrastructure portfolio management team, based in Abu Dhabi. The team have a primary focus on investments that bring stable returns and long-term value creation. The existing portfolio spans EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific. What the job involves

    • Support development of and have good understanding of the teams investment strategy, market dynamics and drivers, as well as the macro environment and use this insight to deliver on your day-to-day activities
    • Update the team on the recent trends, developments, considerations & challenges in the market
    • Review the portfolio composition and performance
    • Review and challenge the portfolio companies' business plan submissions by the team
    • Prepare the quarterly valuation report for the portfolio
    • Review of board material and preparation of summary briefs for the board reps
    • Work with the team on identifying value creation opportunities and performance improvement initiatives
    • Support and report on DI portfolio dashboard and mini dashboard with the latest valuation and information
    • Take the lead in training the analysts on different type of skills

    Who we are looking for

    • Experience in progressively more complex and senior roles in a top-tier financial or management consulting firm
    • Alternatively, you could also have been performing a portfolio management role at another investment or private equity firm
    • An extensive experience in financial modelling / analysis, valuation, and asset management
    • An ability to analyse complex data and create a clear story, solution, and recommendation
    • A strong knowledge of financial and accounting numerical fundamentals, and the ability to leverage this knowledge to interpret and analyse complex financial data
    • A Bachelor's degree from a top-tier internationally recognized higher education institution or a financial certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CAIA); a Master's degree will be strongly recommended
