    • Generic
    • Carry outaircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance withmanufacturer and safety procedures. Ensure that assignedzones/aircraft are maintained as per latest revisions of approvedauthority Technical Publications such as Aircraft documentation,Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and Engineering ProceduresManual etc.
    • Ensure that personalapprovals/licences are valid and applicable to aircrafttypes.
    • Ensure all off-aircraft tasks handling, robberies, hold items etc. are handled incompliance with company procedures and that the associatedpaperwork is complete to ensure fulltransparency.
    • Determine if tooling/equipmentused is serviceable and appropriate for the task and usespecialised tooling where required. Ensure that trouble shootingprocedures/tools used for fault rectification are carried out in acost effective and efficient manner.
    • Carry outcomponent changes as necessary as part of trouble shooting processand/or as directed by immediate supervisor. These should be done inaccordance with AMM, IPC or other manufacturer/vendor documentationto complete the task.
    • Ensure that allactivities performed are carried out in accordance with all safetyrules and regulations and in adherence to company procedures,highlighting an deficiencies/ requirements (whether for aircraft Orhangar use) through the effective use of reporting tools in supportof the overall quality improvement process and actively participatein propagating and enhancing the Group safety culture. Ensure allwork locations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditionsare maintained.
    • Maintain effectivecommunication with Colleagues including Managers and SeniorEngineers to ensure a seamless flow of information and to highlightany potential operational issues. Ensure that relevant reports arerelated to service delays, incidents and accidents are completed indetail including the identification of issues that led to the eventso that rectification can be sought through short term maintenanceplanning.
    • Manage the performance of staff usingperformance review process and system. Ensure SMART goal setting,interim/annual reviews and development plans are in place forassigned staff members in accordance with companyprocedures.
    • Attend training/recurrent modulesas required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.Ensure approvals are obtained within 3.5 months of completion ofcourse.
    • Be available for deployment anywherewithin the EK operation, including diversionary airfields to assistin recovery process of an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and/or aircraftcomponent manufacturer facilities to act as an EK rep to overseefinal assembly Emirates aircraft, supervise outsource maintenancework and assist in the acceptance/delivery process.

    Qualifications& Experience

    Degree orHonours (12+3 or equivalent):

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Engg - Aeronauticalsubjects/Mechanical/Avionics/Electronic/Tech Engineering orMaintenance Engineering Licence.
    • 7+ yearsexperience in aviation maintenance environment as an AircraftTechnician/Mechanics or equivalent with a reputable airline orAircraft Maintenance Organisation

    • Minimum of 1 aircraft type approval -Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relateto the operation and maintenance of aircraft to internationalstandards.
