- Leads the charge on UI and mobile automation
- Champions best practices for automation
- Sets up CI/CD pipelines for automation
- Designs, documents, and executes manual and automated test cases
- Tests complex API, web, and mobile based applications with DB components
- Estimates tasks and work with minimal guidance and supervision
- Provides technical guidance and training for manual testers and junior team members
- Assists in all phases and types of software testing – functional, acceptance, regression, performance, automated, end-to-end, etc.
- Works closely with development team to identify issues and resolve problems
- Ensures that all defects are documented, tracked, and updated during the testing cycle using the bug documentation software
- Assists in setup / configuration of QA Testing environments
- Relays pertinent defect information to QA/Development/Product team members
- Participates in Team Meetings to discuss team goals, tasks, and tools
- Performs related duties as required
- Experience in a CI/CD environment utilizing automation strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team.
- Ability to be effective in a fast-paced environment.
- API testing using Postman , SoapUI
- Load testing tools like JMeter / BlazeMeter
- Familiar with Test automation tools like Selenium, Test Complete
- Typescript or excellent grasp of OOP and how it is applied in JavaScript
- Solid understanding of using Git, and continuous integration tools
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
