Description

We are looking for a General Surgeon to joinour team and perform a variety of surgical procedures on ourpatients in our health facilities.

A GeneralSurgeon's responsibilities include educating patients ontheir surgical options, preparing patients for surgery and leadingsurgeries as needed. Ultimately, you will work with a team ofmedical professionals overseeing the medical and surgical care ofpatients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and advise patients on therisk involved with having surgery
• Performsurgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, disease,deformities and patient function while adhering to regulatory andethical protocols
• Follow established surgicaltechniques during surgery
• Prescribepreoperative and postoperative treatment andprocedures
• Ensure sterility in the operatingroom, and all equipment and instruments
• Directand coordinate activities of hospital staff for proper patientcare
• Oversee all treatment prior to andpost-surgery, and identify associatedrisks
• Plan and execute disease/illnessprevention and health promotion programs
  

Requirements AndSkills

• Proven work experience as a GeneralSurgeon minimum 4years.
• Fantastic manualdexterity, hand-eye coordination and visuospatialawareness
• Superb organisational and timemanagement skills
• Excellent decision-makingskills and communication
• Ability to work underpressure in a fast-pacedenvironment
• Emotionally resilient with theability to make patients feel at ease
• Greatmanagement and leadership skills
• Relevanttraining and/or Specialization in GeneralSurgery
