Food Runner Job Description in a Restaurant:

As a food runner in a restaurant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the customers' tables.

You will collaborate closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to guarantee a smooth flow of service.


Specific duties include:

Coordinating with the Kitchen:

Communicate with kitchen staff to pick up completed food orders and ensure they are accurately matched with corresponding tickets.

Timely Delivery:

Quickly and efficiently deliver food to the correct tables, ensuring that the presentation is intact, and the dishes meet quality standards.

Collaboration with Waitstaff:

Work closely with waiters/waitresses to synchronize the delivery of food with overall table service, ensuring a seamless and coordinated dining experience.

4.


Assistance to Waitstaff:
Assist waitstaff as needed, such as refilling water glasses, clearing empty plates, and addressing any customer requests promptly.

5.


Knowledge of Menu Items:
Develop a basic understanding of menu


Salary:
From AED2,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
