    Are you ready to take on a vital role in leading the growth of Food Service within targeted channels directly and through distributors? If so, then you could be our new Key Account Manager in Full service restaurants channel, responsible for account planning, execution and delivering on performance targets for the accounts assigned to you. In this challenging job you will work out of our Sharjah office and you will report to the Head of Foodservice - UAE.

    Drive Food Service business through excellence in Sales

    As a Key Account manager you will develop, manage and implement account specific activity plans to meet budgeted volumes and margin in alignment with overall business unit strategy. You will grow the business in Full service restaurants channel through new product introduction to existing and new customers, deliver annual sales target, continuously analyse customer development, define and maximize business development opportunities. More specifically your key responsibilities would be :

  • Manages a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels.
  • Develops profitable business with new customers
  • Possesses and applies detailed category and product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client's business.
  • Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
  • In charge of sales expansion, introducing new products/services to clients and organizing visits to current and potential clients.
  • Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies using available marketing programs to reach designated targets.
  • Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.
  • Ensures that clients receive high-quality customer service.
  • Informs the clients about new products and services as they are introduced.
  • Passes on information to appropriate sales representatives when clients have additional service needs.
  • In charge of market intelligence information requested by global team.
  • Helps to develop marketing promotions withing dedicated channel.
  • Manage customers payment discipline.
  • Solid sales experience in the Food Service channel

    You have Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Technology, Sales or Marketing, an MBA is a plus. You have at least 5-7 years relevant experience in Sales within Food Service. You have strong business development skills, presentation skills, proven track record of achieving sales targets and background in handling big Food service contracts and deals. Experience within dairy is an advantage. Chef experience is an advantage but not a must. You must have excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to work under pressure. You are results oriented and must have significant knowledge of FSR channel, field sales, product and distributor management.
