Description

We are looking for an Import/Export Operations Executive who a is a key player in the transportation industry, responsible for managing the logistics of all imports and exports for a company or organization.

Their primary aim is to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods across international borders.


Their job responsibilities include overseeing the coordination of shipments, obtaining necessary permits and licences, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and managing relationships with suppliers and distributors overseas.

They also monitor inventory levels, negotiate contracts, and manage transportation costs.

  • Planning and managing the transportation of goods and cargo both domestically and internationally
  • Rich experience in import and export of bulk cargo in UAE. Abu Dhabi/ any other GCC country experience will be a plus.
  • Coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Examining shipping documents and contracts to verify accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Familiar with Import and export policy, customs clearance policy.
  • Excellence skills in port/ transport connection and checking supplier billing.
  • Negotiating rates and contracts with service providers while maintaining profitability
  • Identifying transportation issues and providing effective solutions in realtime to ensure ontime delivery of goods
  • Supervising and training operations staff on shipping processes and procedures
  • Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered
  • Monitor shipment movements and keep clients informed of status
  • Investigate and assist in the resolution of customer complaints or claims in a prompt and professional manner.

Salary:
Up to AED8,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
