The AWS SysOps Engineer will manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure environments while supporting deployment, automation, and operational reliability. This role is critical in ensuring seamless cloud operations, system stability, and high performance across enterprise workloads.

Detailed Job Description

As an AWS SysOps Engineer, you will oversee cloud infrastructure built on AWS and other cloud platforms, ensuring efficient deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting of applications. You will work with Linux systems, databases, DevOps/SRE practices, and CI/CD workflows to support continuous improvement and operational excellence. The role requires strong cloud administration skills, a solid understanding of development and deployment pipelines, and proficiency in monitoring, optimizing, and securing cloud environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced environment to support mission-critical services and cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Administer Linux systems and maintain high availability across cloud workloads.
• Support database management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Implement SysOps best practices across monitoring, alerting, and automation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and system issues across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Optimize performance and resource utilization across multi-cloud environments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud computing and infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience working with Linux systems (administration & troubleshooting).
• Experience with software development and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of databases and cloud-native data services.
• Expertise in cloud monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in fast-paced environments.
• DevOps/SRE experience (mandatory).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• AWS SysOps or other AWS certifications.
• Experience with multi-cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).
