Reporting to the Lead Technical Safety Engineer the candidate will carry out assigned HSE design work as part of a multi-discipline project teamTo promote safe behaviour at all timesMaybe required to perform site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locationsTo provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirementsTo provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering and constructionTo promote safe behaviour at all timesMaybe required to perform site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locationsTo provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirementsTo provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering and construction

Qualifications

Diploma or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument engineering (or relevant subject)Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industryKnowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and constructionOnshore Oil and Gas related HSE design experienceA determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operationExtensive experience with prefabricated, packaged plant designExperience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferredPrevious experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
