    Description
    The Chemist s responsibilitiesinclude analysis and reporting of tea samples testing of caffeinecontents etc and coordinated
    withexternal laboratory for testingparameters.

    Responsibility1:
    Instrument


    • Operation and handling of instruments such as pH meter HPLC AAS IRmoisture analyzer Mufflefurnace
    Oven incubatoretc.

    • Upkeeping of equipment srelated to AMC calibration andmaintenance.
    • Upkeeping ofinstrument records breakdown and spare partsrecords.
    Responsibility2:
    Documentation


    • Knowledge of Good laboratory practices preparation of SOP spreparation of test data sheets
    • Knowledge of laboratory safety related to handling storage anddisposal of chemicals
    • Issuanceof certificate of analysis.
    • Inventory management related to chemicals glassware and spareparts.
    Responsibility3:
    Testing


    • Analysisand reporting of tea samples as perSOP
    • Testing of caffeine contentusing HPLC moisture analysis Ash content heavy metals using AASetc.
    • Analysis of microbialtests such as Anaerobic count yeast and Molds coliforms and E.Coli.
    ATP swab test.

    • Coordinationwith external laboratory for testing parameters such as Pesticideresidue water analysisswab
    analysis and any other testsrequired.

    Requirements

    Criteria:

    NationalityANY
    Age Bracket Preferably between25 35 years old
    Gender MALE/FEMALE
    Educational Attainment BScor MSc in chemistry/Foodchemistry.
    No. Years of ExperienceMinimum 5 years experience in reputed industry preferably foodindustry


    Certifications/TrainingsNeeded

    Preferablyknowledge in caffeine content heavy metals analysis moistureanalysis. Proficient in

    MS Officeprograms:
    MS Word and MSExcel.

    BehavioralQualities/Traits

    Shouldbe flexible enough to Adjust to dynamics of Production Environmentin FMCG. With
    confidence torespond positively when under pressure. Good diagnostic andproblemsolving skills.
    Teamworkingskills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at alllevels.
