- Ensure the highest standards areupheld whilst answering calls for reservations, arriving guests andguests in-house.
- Reservations agents ensure allguests are greeted warmly, delivering a high conversion ofreservations enquiries and maximum average room rate at alltimes.
- Maximize sales of rooms and facilitiesand at all times monitor quality of reservations, statisticalinformation and inter-departmentalcommunications.
- Work as a team to achieve setmonthly KPIs.
- Take a positive problem solvingapproach with guest complaints and enquiries in an efficient andprofessional manner.
- Ensure a clear line ofcommunication with other departments for special requests or otherreservation-related matters.
- Demonstrated hotel experiencepreferably in Reservations or FrontOffice
- Strong communication skills, both verbaland written
- An enthusiastic approach, excellentattention to detail and superior customer serviceskills
- Opera or strong PMS experience isrequired
