    Education andTraining:

    • Ensure relevant training andcompetency is undertaken to deliver caresafely
    • Maintain up-to-date mandatory trainingrequirements
    • Follow the clinical pathways setout by the NMC Elseviar platform
    • Follow andcomply with the NMC Competency Framework, relevant to their roleprofile
    • Be willing to learn new clinicalskills
    • Support and supervise pre-registrationand new nurses and Health Care Workers whenrequired
    • Participate in teaching, mentorshipand preceptorship programmes when required
    • Participate in clinical supervision
    • Participate in Performance Improvement Plans whenrequired
    • Share knowledge and skill withothers, in order to improve patient care andservice
    • Ensure they are skilled, trained andcompetent before using any medical device.
    • Involve patients in their own healthcare and recovery througheducation, awareness and positive reinforcement.
