Job Scope:


Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the hospital insurance programs, managing functions related to insurance coverage for liability, property and workers' compensation, and managing the processing and monitoring of claims to recover losses in each of these areas.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparing and submitting documentation in support of property and liability claims involving the facility
  • Monitoring all other claims status with the state and user departments until settlement is complete
  • Compiling and reporting facility data to establish insurance coverage requirements
  • Reviewing and analyzing insurance premiums and recommends appropriate internal distribution among funding sources
  • Advising management concerning various risk, insurance and contractual matters
  • Reviewing contracts, leases and other agreements as applicable concerning appropriate insurance language and requirements
  • Maintaining relations with insurance providers
  • Reviewing and analyzing loss histories for a wide variety of exposures and make recommendations as needed

Qualifications:
-
Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or relevant field OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience ;(Desired)Master's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or relevant field

  • 24 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role
  • Recognized qualification such as CMA,CPA,ACCA,ACA,CA,CFA or equivalent
  • Experience working experience in any SEHA Facility (desired)

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
