• Gasin the APAC region the Technical Supervisor, APAC & MEIis an integral role within the business unitand willassist in the control and management of M&R and technical activities in the APAC and Middle East, India region.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support for M&R and Depot Activities in South & South East Asia & East AsiaWorking in conjunction with Regional M&R Manager and Global Technical Supervisor Gas in the co-ordination and control of gas tank container repairs, re-tests & maintenanceChecking and verifications of third-party depot repair estimatesControl of third-party depot capabilities and facilities and turnaround timesFollow up on repair quality based on agreed SLAsAdministration in our TMS system around the gas tanksPerforming emergency response role for Gas tank containersAssisting with trans-shipment of tank containers as requiredAssisting with the control of damage surveys as requiredControl of tank container modifications as requiredSupport for Tank Cleaning and SHEQ ActivitiesSupporting audit program (SLA) for approved degassing stations, repair depots and trucking suppliersDelivering spot checks with approved suppliersSupport in the control and verification of additional cleaning costsPeriodic review of cleaning procedures for difficult productsCommercial & Business Development FunctionProviding technical support as required to Gas Business Development teamsProviding technical support as required to the Gas commercial team developing technical solutions in consultation with customerManaging the delivery of customer required tank modification / preps prior to loadingAssisting in the development of new equipment working to customer specificationsInstalling equipment at customer sites for undertaking trial discharges and loadings

Training of customer operational staff in accordance with Den Hartogh operational proceduresEssential Job RequirementsMinimum tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering will be advantageousMinimum 5 years'experience in gas tank container maintenanceGood understanding of dangerous goods transport regulations including IMDGExperience in sourcing, supplier control, assessing and auditing will be a plusMust be able to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team playerCandidate should be able totravel internationally as and when requiredFluent in English, both verbal and written aspectsThe ideal candidate could be based in either of the Den Hartogh offices below:Bangkok, ThailandSingaporeKlang, MalaysiaDubai, UAE#J-18808-Ljbffr
