Description

We are currently working with an international bulk commodity trader headquartered in Dubai that is in the process of looking for a Coal Analyst to join their Market Research team.

Responsibilities:

Global coal market analytics
Participating in commercial and marketing strategies with advising on proper segmentations, segments substrategies and value propositions, etc.
Prepare reporting, reference and presentation materials on the global and regional coal markets and the Company's position in it
Working with CRM data
Conducting global coal market research and development of periodical reports with formulated recommendations to Traders
Arrange for collection, systematization and analysis of data required to prepare regular and special analytical materials, reports and presentations on the local and global coal market
Work with tasks on supply & demand balances and forecasts
Participation in development and maintenance of Group coal market models (price forecasting for coal), to assist trading desks and market modelling team
Participation in connecting and processing data from external sources for use in models and in data science
Provide advisory and methodological support to marketing initiatives in other commodities if needed
Benchmarking and relevant analytics on prices
Provide other information and analytical support to the commercial team
