    Description

    The Plant Engineer plays acritical role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenanceof our concrete manufacturing facility. This position requires acombination of technical expertise problemsolving skills andleadership abilities to oversee all aspects of plant operations.The Plant Engineer will report directly to the Plant Manager andcollaborate closely with other team members to achieve productiontargets while maintaining high standards of safety quality andefficiency.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    EquipmentMaintenance:

    • Developand implement preventive maintenance programs for all plantequipment including mixers conveyors batch plants and materialhandling systems.
    • Coordinate withmaintenance staff to schedule routine inspections repairs andreplacements to minimize downtime and ensure optimalperformance.
    • Troubleshoot equipmentmalfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly to preventproductiondelays.

    ProcessOptimization:

    • Continuouslyevaluate plant processes and identify opportunities for improvementin productivity energy efficiency and costreduction.
    • Implement changes tooperating procedures equipment configurations or automation systemsto enhance overall efficiency and quality of concreteproduction.
    • Monitor key performanceindicators (KPIs) and analyze production data to identify trendsand address performance issuesproactively.

    RegulatoryCompliance:

    Ensurecompliance with all relevant health safety and environmentalregulations governing concrete manufacturingoperations.

    Stay abreast ofindustry standards and best practices to ensure the plant meets orexceeds regulatoryrequirements.

    Work closelywith regulatory agencies and participate in audits or inspectionsas necessary.

    ProjectManagement:

    • Leador participate in plant improvement projects such as equipmentupgrades process modifications or facilityexpansions.
    • Develop project plansbudgets and timelines and coordinate resources to ensure successfulexecution and timelycompletion.
    • Communicate projectstatus updates to stakeholders and management addressing anychallenges or deviations from theplan.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or arelated field; advanced degree or professional certification is aplus.
    • Proven experience in a similarrole within the concrete manufacturing industry or a related heavyindustrial environment.
    • Strongknowledge of concrete production processes equipment maintenancepractices and regulatoryrequirements.
    • Excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complextechnical issues and implement effectivesolutions.
    • Proficiency in projectmanagement tools and techniques with experience leadingcrossfunctional teams to achieve projectobjectives.
    • Effective communicationskills both verbal and written with the ability to interactconfidently with employees at all levels of theorganization.


    -Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professionalcertification is a plus. -Proven experience in a similar rolewithin the concrete manufacturing industry or a related heavyindustrial environment. -Strong knowledge of concrete productionprocesses, equipment maintenance practices, and regulatoryrequirements.
