    Job Title - Sales Representative

    About the Role

    You will drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding business within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to understand customer logistics needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance efficiency, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities within logistics and freight forwarding.

    Build a strong pipeline of prospects through research, cold outreach, networking, and industry events.

    Conduct sales presentations, meetings, and product/service demonstrations to potential clients.

    Account Management & Relationship Building

    Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their supply chain needs and recommending appropriate logistics solutions.

    Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.

    Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service execution.

    Pricing, Proposals & Negotiation

    Prepare competitive quotations and proposals in collaboration with operations and pricing teams.

    Negotiate rates, service contracts, and commercial terms while balancing profitability and customer value.

    Work with internal teams to ensure accurate booking, documentation, and execution of freight shipments.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

    36 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding sales.

    Proven track record in hunting, lead generation, and closing new business.

    Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping documentation, and logistics operations.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    Ability to use CRM tools and manage a structured sales pipeline.

    Strong problem-solving ability and customer-first mindset.

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
