• Windows Specialist withLinux exposure to join our global team of highly skilled systemadministrators in our rapidly expanding Dubai office.
• To be eligible for this role you must be skilled inWindows Server administration including IIS Active Directory andMicrosoft Exchange. Experience with Microsoft Unified Communicationserver would be beneficial.
• Company ispredominantly Linux based operation so some handson Linuxexperience is essential for this role.
• YouWILL be working on Linux in this role at least some of the time butyour focus will be as the primary Windows Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring administration and maintenance of multiplesystems
• Resolving customer issues
• Troubleshooting and resolving software errors andhardware faults
• Researching evaluating newequipment & systems
• Network managementand maintenance. E.g. switching VLANs routing
• Windows and Linux Server Administration
• After hours shared response to faults on call
• General Documentation

Required Skills

• EXCELLENTWindows server administration skills and strong linuxadministration skills
• Microsoft ActiveDirectory: clustering administration maintenance
• Understanding of networking and protocols
• High Availability/Load Balanced concepts
• Web/Mail servers: ApacheIIS Exim Qmail
• Firewall technologies and concepts
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work within a globally distributedteam
• Ability to prioritize and work onmultiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbalskills

Beneficial Skills

• Experience in a web/application/domain hostingor cloud services environment
• Scripting:PowerShell or at least one of PHP SQL bash/shell or Perl
• SAN storage knowledge/experience(iscsi/NFS/CIFS)
• Dell hardware configurationand management
• VMWareESX/ESXi/vSphere
• Virtuozzo/openvz
• You must have good communication skills and a sense ofhumour is huge plus.
