    Job Description:

    Data Engineer - Infrastructure

    Abu Dhabi, UAE

    We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role places you at the center of Parsons' expanding digital engineering ecosystem, supporting initiatives across data analytics, AI, BIM, GIS, automation, and cloud transformation, reflecting the sector's rapid growth and strategic impact.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines across BIM, GIS, CDE, IoT, and project tools, ensuring quality and standards compliance.

    • Create dashboards and visualizations that turn engineering workflows and KPIs into clear, actionable insights.

    • Support AI and advanced analytics by preparing datasets and contributing to ML, predictive, and optimization solutions.

    • Collaborate with BIM, GIS, Automation, and Information Management teams on digital engineering and workflow automation.

    • Help define and maintain data standards, documentation, and security/compliance for analytics and AI projects.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.

    • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

    • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data lakehouse platforms, and workflow orchestration tools.

    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

    • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical insights for engineering and project stakeholders.

    • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑moving digital environment.

    • Detail‑oriented with strong documentation discipline.

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    • Experience with BIM/GIS data, engineering workflows, or AEC‑related datasets is a strong advantage.

    • Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and experience working with data scientists is preferred.

    • Familiarity with engineering digital transformation domains such as BIM, IM, GIS, automation, and CDE environments.
