• Develop the operations strategyaligning with Region Middle Eastobjectives.
• Communicate the strategy across theregion, ensuring area offices receive necessary support foreffective implementation.
• Drive, steer, anddeliver Regional and Global Projects within the specifiedscope.
• Oversee Region Middle East Areas,supporting offices to achieve targets.
• Ensureprofessional and timely information flow across Region Middle EastAreas.
• Ensure adherence to company standards byterminals, agency offices, and partnerlines.
• Oversee management of company-owned andleased equipment, including maintenance andrepair.
• Develop and execute container terminalstrategies, enforcing standards for efficiency andexcellence.
• Ensure efficient loading anddischarging of all operated vessels in compliance with relevantlaws and regulations.
• Communicate regularlywith local directors/managers, providing updates on corporatepolicies and procedures.
• Ensure timelydevelopment of the yearly Operations Budget for the Region andAreas, supervising figures to meet or exceedexpectations.

Qualifications &Competencies:

• 10-15years of experience in a relevantrole.
• Extensive experience in internationalshipping companies or an adjacent industry, preferably in theOperations department.
• Exceptional ability toinspire and motivate people.
• Fluent in English;additional languages are a plus.
• High ProjectManagement knowledge with outstanding communicationskills.
• Experience in negotiating anddelivering results.
• Willingness to travelfrequently.
• Organizes people and activities toleverage synergies, achieving more with fewerresources.
