Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality organization: Youwill lead the Quality organization at Careem, to implement highquality standards for design and deployment of software, support ahighly scalable, easy to maintain, Infrastructure platform anddesign for users and content 360. Support the Engineering,Infrastructure, Data & AI and Analyticsteam.
• Quality strategy: You will define andimplement the quality strategy for Careem and co-lead the roadmapto deliver high quality products and world-class user experiences.You will institutionalize a Quality driven mindset at every levelof the product developmentlifecycle.
• Careem-wide Tech Leadership: Youwill work with different stakeholders at a senior level and engageproactively with all Careem engineering leads in different domainsacross our Food, Groceries, Platform and Paybusinesses.
• Tech culture: You will helpstrengthen the tech culture at Careem as a tech culture champion.And you will help attract talent and grow the Careem engineeringbrand by publishing technical blogs and participating in techconferences.
• This role will report directly tothe Chief Technology Officer
  

PreferredQualifications

• 15+ years of prior experience workingas Quality leader role as well as managing customer/client-facingprojects.
• Experience in Testing strategies andbest practices for software development lifecycle.
• Experience in state of the art testautomation frameworks and methodologies for mobile and backendsystems
• Experience in designing and maintaininginternet facing production-grade applications in distributedvirtualized or containerizedenvironments.
