We have an exciting opportunityfor a UAE National to lead our growing charter schools based in AbuDhabi and Al AinAccountabilities(NonExhaustive):
Implement the school vision values andstrategic approach to connect and inspire the school community tocollectively achieve educationalexcellence.
Inspire and support school leaders and teachers tolead the way as innovators and architects of imaginativefuturefocused high impact educational design anddelivery
Ensure a learning approach and environment in whichstudents are:
Motivated by a shared purpose of growth anddevelopment for all
Inspired engaged and challenged by their learningexperiences each day
Explicitly pursuing and achieving their own learninggoals expectations pathways andachievements
Building their skills insights and understanding toeffectively engage in any learningchallenge
Developing the qualities to contribute in a rapidlydeveloping world locally nationally andglobally
Lead the school in the development of creativeinnovative and engaging curriculum design and delivery that meetsall regulatory requirements and produces outstandingresults
Ensure school compliance with regulatory authoritiesaccreditation agencies corporate regulations and policies includingcoordinating School Improvement Plans
Promote a school culture that is dynamicengaging inclusive collaborative and outwardlooking
in which each member isvalued and has a clear commitment to the goals and strategicdirections of the school
Engage parents to play a key role in supporting theirchildren as partners in theirlearning
Engage academic and business partnerships that provideopportunities for students to have a wide variety of enhancedlearning experiences andopportunities
Ensure UAE values are deeply embedded into the daily lifeof the school while also contributing to the UAE Centennial Plan2071
Applykey principles and ensure highly effective systems structuresprocesses and practices are in place for child safety health andwellbeing human resource management financial management andaccountability and other legislative and policy requirements inrelation to serving the community and broadersociety
Ensure quality regular and routine monitoring andaccountability processes are established to assess review and guidethe ongoing performance and development of theschool
Ensure performance management process are in place tosupport the ongoing development and appraisal of allstaff
Ensure leadership and teacher development successionplanning and recruitment strategies support outstanding delivery ofeducational experiences and outcomes
Promote and engage in collaboration andpartnerships with other schools to share expertise and developcreative high quality educational experiences for students andteachers
Complete any other duty as required by line managersto reasonably ensure the delivery of educational and operationalexcellence.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree plus postgraduatequalification in Education
Significant teaching experience with atleast 3 years in a senior leadershipposition.
A high proficiency in English language isessential.
