Description

These professionals are tasked with fielding media questions and pitching stories to the media, preparing media kits and organizing press conferences.

They also release information to counter negative publicity and handle crisis and emergency communications.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Handle multiple accounts, build strong client relationships, and manage client requirements at all times
To come up with creative concepts for clients and identify opportunities
To be creative and actively participate in the formation of new ideas and strategies to better serve clients
Develop and foster a relationship with clients and media in a proactive manner, to communicate the client's message
Develop and place appropriate stories of the client in appropriate media
Conceptualize and execute events for various clients
Writing and distribution of communications material, press kits, press releases, Q&A, speeches, presentations and collateral materials of clients
Monthly press coverage reports
Attend key media/industry events
Proactively establish, and maintain positive relationships with press, media, and influencers
Strong Media relationship development across the Middle East

KEY ATTRIBUTES | QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 13 years PR / marketing experience or related field
Knowledge of the GCC markets with key insights into the luxury sector/F&B/Hospitality/Fashion
Great media relations
Influencer Relations
Excellent time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Gogetter / selfstarter
Positive attitude / strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Establishes priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
Must be a creative thinker
Great attention to detail
Excellent writing skills is a must
Flexible, versatile and copes well under pressure to meet deadlines
