Overview of the role:


  • The primary focus of the role is to manage the workshop store operations and exercise control on receipts, issues and storage of materials, consumables and tools. Procure workshop consumables, tools, equipment, manuals, lubricants and other materials on specific instructions from Workshop Manager or Foreman or to set stocking levels. Involves technical understanding of need, sourcing, obtaining quotations, deciding supplier, raising, purchase orders and related followup.

What you will do:


  • Procure workshop consumables, lubricants, tools, equipment, manuals and other materials on specific instructions from Workshop Manager or Foreman or to set stocking levels.
  • Receiving all indented materials, confirming its quality and quantity.
  • Issue out materials through proper documentation.
  • Ensure that all returnable materials issued e.g. tools, manuals etc. are returned back to the store on time.
  • Nonreturnable material such as paint and consumables issued is recorded for adjustment against inventory and charging to job cards.
  • Maintain utmost cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
  • Ensure high standard of safety regarding the stored item to prevent fire hazard or any other accident.
  • Ensure proper temperature control of paints to minimize deterioration.
  • Daily monitor waste stock such as oils, tyres, batteries, metal, plastic, paper etc.
  • Organize collection for sale items and disposal of rubbish items.

Required Skills to be successful:


  • Customer management and coordination experience
  • Communication skills
  • Timely Resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

About the Team:

What equips you for the role:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 2 years experience as a Store Keeper handling warranties and claims
  • Proficient in English and Arabic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
