Audit Senior - Job description

We are looking for a fully qualified CA, ACCA or CPA to join our team in DIFC as an Audit Senior

• You will be expected to meet client commitments on external and internal audit engagements by executing the audit and completing audit files within the specified timeframe of the engagement
• You will be required to perform specific audit engagements to the high standard of quality expected of employees of the firm, whilst demonstrating the firm values of: working as a team, focusing on our clients and targets, being a leader, and behaving with pride and enthusiasm and success for and through our people
• You will be assisting with the planning of external and internal audits, including budgeting, staffing planning and participation in audit planning meetings
• You will be coordinating the audit engagement from planning to completion within the stipulated time frame and with the required expected level of quality
• You will be developing strong working relationships with the client and the client staff involved
• You will be delegating to junior team members, provide on the job training and provide feedback.

Requirements:

• CA/ACCA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification
• Must be currently based in the UAE and must have a minimum of 4-5 years of external audit experience gained with a mid-tier or one of the Big 4 audit firms in the UAE
• Must have in-depth knowledge of IFRS
• Preference will be given to candidates that are currently working in an audit firm
• The ability to build strong client knowledge and act as an extension to the client
• The ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with members of the team and other service lines across the firm
• A real team-player with a 'can-do' attitude
