Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of students at various proficiency levels.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to engage students in meaningful language learning activities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Integrate cultural content and realworld contexts into lessons to deepen students' understanding of Russian language and culture.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities and promote crosscultural understanding.
  • Stay updated on current trends and best practices in language teaching and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Russian language, Education, Linguistics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Native or nearnative proficiency in Russian, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience teaching Russian language and culture to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
  • Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories, teaching methodologies, and instructional strategies for teaching Russian.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and create a supportive learning environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources for language teaching and learning.
  • Certification or licensure in teaching Russian (if required by state or institution).
  • Commitment to professional growth, reflective practice, and cultural competence.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
From AED4,000.00 per month


Expected hours:
No more than 7 per week
