As the General Manager for the GCC, you will act as the end-to-end leader of our business in Dubai and bey, Wheely's fastest growing market.

Early data is signalling us tremendous potential within the GCC and the broader Gulf region and we're excited to be doubling-down and bringing someone on to work directly with our Founders and Executive Team to lead the growth of our business while being laser focused on ensuring unparalleled service quality.

We are looking for a cross-functional, dynamic and ambitious leader with 7+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or other high-intensity, high-growth environment who's passionate about our product, hospitality/luxury/transportation and is looking to take a significant step in their career.

You will be the face of the brand, embodying and promoting our core values internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the overall commercial operations, strategy, partnership and growth in the UAE marketLead and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with Wheely's global standards and local market needsDrive business development, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities for expansion and partnershipsCollaborate with the central CX team to maintain high standards of service quality, aligning with Wheely's luxury brand ethosFoster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and government entitiesLead the UAE business reviews while continuously driving urgency in execution and roadmap prioritisation, across stakeholders and the local teamEnsure compliance with local regulations and Wheely's privacy-first approachLead and mentor a high-performing team, promoting Wheely's culture of excellence and innovation.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edgeCollaborate with global teams to share insights, best practices, and support Wheely's international growth


Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.7+ years of experience in investment banking or consulting, followed by a senior role in high-growth tech environments.

Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset. Deep understanding of the UAE market, culture, and business practicesStrong analytical and numerical capabilities, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysisExcellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholdersComfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent leadership and team management skillsPassion for hospitality, luxury and transportationProficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus
