    JobResponsibilities

    • To perform opening and closingprocedures according to the shift.
    • To inspectpool areas at start, during and at the end of the shift to ensurethat the set up of the department is in accordance with establishedstandard.
    • To ensure that standards aremaintained at a superior level on a dailybasis.
    • To execute the standards of Recreationin the set-up of amenities (changing rooms) as well as poolchairs.
    • To re-arrange furniture layout whenevernecessary.
    • To distribute the towels andamenities needed.
    • To monitor, maintainscleanliness, sanitation and organization of the poolareas.
    • To work in close coordination with otherteam members to ensure smooth operations.
    • Toprovide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible serviceat all times.
    • To establish a rapport withguests, providing guest recognition and good customerrelationships.
    • To respond to guest enquiries onpool activities as well as on kid's club and otherinformation regarding the facility and services of theHotel.
    • To Control in-house guests and eventualoutside visitors.
    • To escort arriving guest torequested area (pool).
    • To anticipateguest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge allguests, however busy and whatever time ofday.
    • Maintain positive guest relations at alltimes.
    • To maintain pool, including properchemical PH rate for the purpose of maintaining the facilities andcomplying with mandated health andrequirements.
    • To assist lifeguards inmaintaining swimming pool equipment for the purpose of ensuring theequipment is in proper working condition.
    • Toreport technical difficulties to the maintenancedepartment.
    • To control inventory oftowels.
    • To Control inventory of poolgames.
    • To Report any damage immediately to thesupervisor or the Manager.
    • To support theordering of pool supplies.
    • To ensure a highstandard of personal appearance and hygiene as well as wear thecorrect uniform and nametag at all times.
    • Toattend briefings, as required and contribute to all staff meetings,Departmental and Hotel trainings as scheduled and other relatedactivities
    • To interact with other departmentsto provide additional or specialized guestservices.
    • To know and adhere strictly to Lost& Found procedures.
    • To report to thesupervisor and/or Manager any sickness or unusual behaviour ofguests.
    • Is responsible for the pool informationboard set-up.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of one-year experience in thesame position in a 5 Luxury Hotel.
    • Basicknowledge of detergents and pool cleaningmethods
