Finance and Reconciliation Executive

Job Description:

As a Finance and Reconciliation Executive, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization. Your primary duties will include financial data entry, reconciliation of accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with financial analysis. You will collaborate with various teams within the organization, including the finance department, accounting team, and other stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


Financial Data Entry:
Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system, ensuring proper coding and documentation.

Reconciliation:

Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.


Financial Reporting:

Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial statements as required.


General Ledger Maintenance:
Maintain and update the general ledger by recording all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Financial Analysis:

Assist in financial analysis by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, highlighting trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.


Compliance:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, including proper documentation, record keeping, and adherence to established procedures.

Communication:

Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and auditors to provide required financial information and resolve any discrepancies or issues.


Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Audit Support:

Assist in the preparation of financial records and documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.


Training and Support:
Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on financial processes, procedures, and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or reconciliation roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting and ability to prepare financial statements.
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial analysis and reporting.

Salary:
Up to AED10,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:
