    We are Hiring

    We arelooking for a Structural Design Engineer for one of our reputedclients in Sharjah.

    Roles &Responsibilities

    1) Must be able todesign and analyze Steel Structure elements of buildings and othersteel structures.

    2) Must be able to developdetailed design calculations for the steel structures all steel tosteel and steel to concrete connections and get approval fromcontractor client and consultants.

    3) Must beable to review shop drawings prepared in Tekla and Autocad andmanage the modelling and detailing team.

    4) Mustbe able to do connection design of complex steel structures forbuildings warehouses industrial projects using connection softwaresuch as idea statica or RAM/LIMCON or be able to generate own excelspreadhseets for connection design.

    5) Can doquantity take off for steel structures from the Tender/IFC drawingsprovided.

    6) Create detailed technical drawingsand specifications for construction projects.

    7)Collaborate with architects contractors and other professionals todevelop structural designs.

    8) Conduct sitevisits and inspections to assess existing structures and identifypotential issues.

    9) Perform calculations andsimulations to determine the strength and stability ofstructures.

    10) Review and approve design changesand modifications based on projectrequirements.

    11) Provide guidance and support tojunior engineers and drafters.

    12) Stay updatedon industry standards codes and regulations related to structuraldesign.

    13) Coordinate with project teams toensure timely completion of designdeliverables.

    14) Communicate and present designconcepts and proposals to clients andstakeholders.

    DesiredQualifications:

    1) Minimum of aBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a relatedfield.

    2) Must be well versed in STADD PRO/ETABSsoftware for Steel structure Design.

    3) Must befamiliar with American and British Steel DesignCodes.

    4) Professional Engineer (P.E.) license ispreferred.

    5) At least 3 years of experience instructural design engineering.

    6) Experienceworking on largescale construction projects is highlydesirable.

    7) Strong knowledge of building codesand regulations.

    8) Proficiency in structuraldesign software such as AutoCAD Revit or SAP

    9)Excellent problemsolving and analyticalskills.

    10) Effective communication andinterpersonal skills.

    11) Ability to workcollaboratively in a team environment.

    12)Attention to detail and strong organizationalskills.
