    Job Title:

    Technical Supervisor

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a skilled Technical Supervisor to oversee our workshop activities, including maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy machinery.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate workshop activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
    • Allocate work to technicians based on skills and workload.
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair logs.
    • Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
    • Liaise with procurement department for spare parts and workshop supplies.
    • Train and mentor junior technicians and assist in their technical development.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, or similar.
    • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematic diagrams.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
