    Description

    KeyResponsibilities

    • Install, maintain, and repairelectrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel, includinglighting, electrical panels, wiring, andgenerators.
    • Conduct regular inspections ofelectrical systems to ensure they are in compliance with allrelevant codes and regulations.
    • Respond toguest requests for electrical repairs or assistance and resolveissues promptly.
    • Work closely with othermembers of the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve complexelectrical problems.
    • Maintain accurate recordsof all electrical work performed, including parts used, labor time,and job details.
    • Participate in training andprofessional development activities to stay up-to-date with thelatest electrical techniques andtechnologies.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalentrequired; technical or trade school degreepreferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experienceworking as an electrician in a commercial or hospitalityenvironment.
    • Thorough understanding ofelectrical theory and techniques, including the ability to read andinterpret electrical schematics anddiagrams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complexelectrical issues.
    • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as partof a team.
    • Ability to work independently,prioritize tasks, and manage timeeffectively.
    • Must be able to work flexiblehours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, asneeded.

    PhysicalRequirements

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsand stand for long periods of time.
    • Must beable to climb ladders and work in confinedspaces.
    • Must be able to work in various weatherconditions, including extreme heat andcold.
