JobResponsibilities

• Attendingdesign discussions with the Engineers Architects and other teammembers.
• Gathering the structural and materialrequirements.
• Performing calculations on theestimated dimensions of the structure.
• Preparing rough sketches of the productdesign.
• Reviewing the sketches and blueprintsduring the meetings.
• Creating a design usingappropriate AutoCAD software.
• Demonstratingthe workflows with the help of a flowchart.
• Compiling data and specification sheets.
• Identifying operational faults and providing solutions tothem.
• Redesign the design to enhance thefunctionality of the project.
• Presenting thedesign to the team members and taking feedback fromthem.
• Creating user manuals and update otherdocuments on time.
• Finalizing the finalAutoCAD model to be used for the production.
• Adhering to the environment and safetyprotocols.
• Storing and filing the projects forfuture references.
• Staying updated with thelatest developments in the variousindustries

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or a relateddegree.
• Proven work experience in theConstruction company as an AutoCAD Drafter or a similar jobposition.
• A professional certification inComputerAided Design and American Design Drafting Association(ADDA) will be an added benefit.
• Extensiveknowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Soundunderstanding of environmental and safety regulations.
• Good knowledge of engineering principles.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
