We are recruiting for Commercial Strategy Analyst to join our UAE office.


Responsibilities:


  • Optimization of Revenue:
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, including pricing optimization, promotion effectiveness, and customer segmentation.
  • Work closely with the Procurement and Brand Management teams to analyze sales and market data, create dashboards, and provide insights to support their decisionmaking processes.
  • Incubation and Launch of New Ventures
  • Support the development and launch of new ventures, such as new product lines, collaborations, or partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to evaluate potential opportunities and assess market demand.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop business plans, financial models, and gotomarket strategies for new ventures.
  • Support in Pricing Strategy, Trade Planning, and Target Setting:
  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies based on market analysis, cost considerations, and competitive positioning.
  • Support the setting of sales targets and monitor performance against targets, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Support the Procurement and Brand Management teams in analyzing sales and market data, creating dashboards, and generating reports to inform decisionmaking.
  • Conduct regular datadriven analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement in commercial operations.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences that can inform commercial strategy and decision-making.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive analysis to drive competitive advantage and market differentiation.
  • Pricing Analysis and Optimization:
  • Perform pricing analysis to evaluate pricing strategies, price elasticity, and competitive pricing dynamics.
  • Conduct regular pricing reviews and monitor price performance against targets, providing recommendations for price optimization.
  • Customer Insights and Segmentation:
  • Collaborate with the Brand Management team to analyze customer data and segmentation models to identify key customer segments and their preferences.
  • Provide insights on customer behavior, purchasing patterns, and lifetime value to support targeted marketing campaigns and personalized customer experiences.
  • Business Performance Reporting:
  • Generate regular and adhoc reports on commercial performance, including sales analysis, revenue trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis and performance reports.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to enable efficient and effective monitoring of commercial performance.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in commercial strategy, business analysis, or related roles, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies, trade planning, and sales target setting.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and the capacity to think strategical
