Brilliant food
- responsible for the kitchen team's delivery of high quality, brilliant food that leads to exceptional customer experiences

  • Maintains expert knowledge of our menus and shares this knowledge with the team
  • Ensures that a wide range of carefully designed dishes are prepared, presented, and delivered with pride and precision as per the specifications
  • Ensures that each team member follows our standardized processes designed to provide a highquality dining experience
  • Be aware of current trends in the culinary region
  • Works with the other chefs to ensure new menus are developed and implemented successfully

Exceptional guest experiences

  • Delivers exceptional customer experiences through ensuring that your team prioritizes specperfect dishes every time
  • Works with the front of house team to ensure that any delays or errors are corrected immediately
  • Reviews customer feedback on food quality and looks for ways to improve
  • Ensures that food allergies are treated with absolute seriousness and that all chefs are trained on correct food handling
  • Where appropriate, engage with guests adding to their overall experience

People and culture

  • Creates an environment where team members thrive at work, allowing them to be their authentic selves
  • Works with the hotel leadership team to develop a workplace culture that recognizes and rewards excellent work
  • Attracts and retains team members who recognize and contribute to the overall aims of the business
  • Builds a succession plan to ensure that team members can grow and develop within the business and broader company
  • Partners with the support functions to ensure compliance with all people practices and procedures
  • Active participation in planning, Hiring, and training of Kitchen staff
  • Attendance in Interview sessions
  • Monthly Appraisal before confirming the employee, Before probation completion appraisal, and yearly Appraisal for employees

Delivery of results
- ensures that the team are brilliant at the basics; food quality, food hygiene, and health and safety

  • Each dish is delivered to the correct specification every time, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
  • Cost controls are in place, and targets are met
  • Weekly reporting and Monthly reporting on Menu Changes, Incidents, SOPS, and Quality KPI's
  • Compliance with all food safety requirements and audits are passed
  • Labour targets are met while investigating where savings can be made that don't hinder the customer experience
  • ERP& System integration and entry requirements.
  • Supplier & Product Knowledge and update on the changes in the industry
  • Testing and approval of the products and materials.
  • Wastage is tracked, monitored, and minimized
  • Sustainability targets are met
  • Maintains a stable and welltrained team
  • Coordinates with the purchasing department to acquire needed goods and services.

The Day to Day Stuff
- working shifts that include a balance of evenings, weekends, and holidays, we can guarantee that there will be plenty of variety and opportunity to work hard, develop, and have fun in the workplace

  • Role requires frequent travel within and outside the country
  • You should be ready to travel in specific intervals and on Short notice
