• Main Duties
   
• Coordination of strategicdevelopment of resources within the SE region (METNAUAE&Gulf), including approval of training plans, careerdevelopment planning, conducting periodic performance reviews,coaching/counselling SE's for their professionalgrowth.
• Review of resource utilisation,planning for specialised coverage of all major sales activity areas(Direct, Channel, OEM and Marketing), and review of the resourcematching process
• Recruiting and hiring ofSE's to fill staffing requirements
• Motivation, development, and retention of allSE’s ; development will address both technical skills andsoftskills
• Participation in regular territoryreviews with regional sales directors resulting in a detailedunderstanding of the top deals in the region.
• Direction of the SE Team Leads and other SE’swithin the region, and development of long-term coverage plans forthe SE region
• Account management activitiesmay include development of account strategy, high-levelpresentations, problem resolution, relationship development, andcoordination of corporate resource involvement with the top fiveprospects within the region
• Additionalresponsibilities include development of relationships with otherorganisations inside VMware as well as maintaining currentknowledge of both corporate and industry direction
