Responsibilities:
Guidethe development and implement a competitive school counselingprogram that focuses on and promotes students'success
Value and respond to the diversity andindividual differences of students
Ensure equitableaccess to opportunities and rigorous curriculum for allstudents
Provide direct support services throughstructured conventions
Evaluate areas of strength andadvocate students
Provide group or individualresponsive services
Collaborate and consult withparents, teachers, community organisations and otherstakeholders
Perform assessments, interpret tests andstudy student records
Gather and analyse data tomeasure results
Complete regular reports onprogress
Requirements:
Provenworking experience in school counseling
Integrity andprofessionalism
Advocacy skills
Ability torespond effectively to the needs of a diverse student pool
Working knowledge of various counseling models, practices andresources
Engaging interpersonal skills and excellentcommunication skills
Ability to collect and analysedata
Computer literacy
Sound judgement andemotional intelligence
Master degree inPsychology/School Counseling
