PositionResponsibilities:

• Define and implement Supply Chain strategy, policies andprocesses across the company
• Prepare andimplement the financial budget for the Supply Chain department anddevelop key performance indicators for each category in line withcorporate objectives
• Negotiate and fix ratecontract with freight forwarders to ensure shipments are done inthe most cost effective way
• Ensure completedocumentation is in place for contracts with variousforwarders
• Ensure clearly defined SOPs are inplace and distributed to suppliers and ensure the necessarydocumentation for shipment, customs clearance etc. in eachterritory
• Set up effective systems and SOPs inwarehouse and control store returns and damages
• Improve the efficiency in delivery from warehouse andimplement cost saving measures in logistics andwarehouse
• Ensure complete inventory control onwarehouse and 3PL operations, ensuring minimum shrinkage
• Ensure optimum productivity from warehouse personnel andoptimum utilization of warehouse space.
• Monitor and review stock availability and replenishmentperformance stores and category teams with regular reports tomanagement team
• Implement a system ofPerpetual Inventory in warehouse and 3PL
• Monitor and review to ensure supplier deliveriesschedules are on track and report to management team ensuringprocesses are in place and corrective action is taken when servicelevel agreements are not met
• Investigate andresolve long-standing or complex store delivery problems
• Monitor and review stock availability and replenishmentperformance for stores and category teams with regular reports tomanagement team
• Work closely with the IT teamto ensure support systems effectively deliver supply chainrequirements
• Identify opportunities forprocess improvement in areas such as vendor management, stockreplenishment and implement necessary changes
• Lead , coach, and manage the performance of staff in linewith good people management practices

Bachelordegree
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply chainoperations in Electronics/commodities trading
