Job Role: Mechanical Technician

Job Description

• Must be able to inspect, repair, assess,diagnose and maintain parts of generators.
• Duties shallalso include maintaining generators in terms of refueling, cleaningand changing the filter andoil. 
• Must be able to perform repairs andservices on all makes and models of generator sets.
• Troubleshootingequipment and servicing generator components including motor,alternators, wiring harnesses safety devices, shutdown switches,and battery systems. 
• Preferred candidates should have a minimumof 2 years' practicalexperience in installation,repair and servicing of generators in a private or commercialenvironment.
• Proven and continuous performance record,supported by references from previous and current employer isrequired.
• Furthermore preferred candidates shallposes a secondary education certificate or a technical diplomaeither from a Technical College/TradeSchool
